I'm close to the gorge, but so far have done all my hiking in the Wilson Creek area. I found this website looking for information on the Gorge trails, and man I have hit the motherlode! Tomorrow, I'll take the missus and little one up Shortoff mtn for our first gorge hike. Thanks to everyone for posting so much great information.

Pictures can't fully capture the gorge, attempts at:  https://picasaweb.google.com/jdefriess
Loving the gorge - means a look at the weather to determine gear, and not to see if you'll go.

Thanks for the advice... or the warning. But I think it was a little too late. I'm hooked!
