I am heading up tomorrow morning and we plan to park at the end of Wolf Pit Road and access the trailhead for Shortoff Mountain.  Anyone know if that road is passable?

I believe it is ... there've been a few folks up there the last couple weeks and they didn't have any problems. No severe weather since then ... so I'd say it was probably good to go.

With warmer temps ... might be a little muddy ... just saying  Wink

carolinawanderwoman, did you camp on shortoff Sat thru Sun? My son was up there with some friends and said he help some people get water and we put a few things together and thought it might have been you? I didnt get to go up to shortoff with them but went over on Rock Jock on Sunday and did some day hiking. Was just wandering.... its a small world. Hope you all had a great trip.
